"After many
years as a professional stylist, I decided to devise a way to protect myself
against painful scissor and razor cuts, thus the ScissorShield was born.
ScissorShield had to meet and pass many tests: It had to be comfortable
and provide protection for the wearer. Numerous prototypes were
constructed out of various materials before choosing quality sterling silver and
gold for durability, malleability, and good looks.
Finally,
ScissorShield was evaluated by a staff of professional hair stylists, like you,
for performance, durability, comfort and appearance."
ScissorShield
is designed to allow perfect freedom of movement, to be reversible thus
conforming to your personal techniques, as well as protect the following:

the back of your middle finger while layering overhand--where
most common cuts occur;

the palm of your hand while cutting inside cutting, layering,
or texturing with shears;
-
the outside index and middle fingers while razor cutting (using
2 shields). Some stylists wear two shields on the outside of the index
and middle fingers while using certain razor techniques.
